Mumbai, Oct 12: `Mother' of country's first scientifically documented test-tube baby, Dr Indira Hinduja once again became the first Indian scientist to use human feeder layer as medium to develop three human embryonic stem cell lines.

Introduction

This first post marks a dividing line recognizing my need to seperate my stem cell notes from my blog on medical transformation and heart disease. Eventhough the connections are obvious, stem cell research is a hugh field that will be clearer and follow a definite theme in this new blog.
